Towson Business Owner Wins SmartCEO Brava! Award

Lorena Streb, owner CertaPro Painters, which has a Towson location, was lauded as one of Baltimore SmartCEO Magazine's 2013 Brava! award recipients. 

The awards celebrate women who are outstanding leaders in the companies and the Baltimore area community, according to a news release. Winners are recognized for their local philanthropy, mentoring of fellow CEOs and leading their businesses to significant growth. 

"I’m thrilled and humbled to be recognized as a Brava! honoree," Streb said. "Receiving this award is a tremendous vote of respect and confidence from my colleagues in Baltimore, and I’m proud to serve the community through my small business."

CertaPro specializes in professional painting services for commercial, government and residential establishments. Streb runs with company with her husband Dave. 

Streb is a member of the Baltimore Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Baltimore County Commission for Women. She has also donated time and resources to assist the Baltimore Child Abuse Center and Maryland Women's Heritage Center and Museum, and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity.
