Towson Crime: Burglar Pours Bleach, Ransacks House

Loch Raven
Loch Hill Road, 6600 block. Between 10 a.m. and 11:47 a.m., Oct. 8. Someone entered a home and poured bleach on a victim's clothes, destroyed a television and stole $1,500, a diamond ring and a safe key, police said. Police said they have identified a suspect.

Towson
Fairmount Avenue and East Joppa Road. 11:16 p.m., Oct. 7. Two teens approached two victims and engaged them in a conversation before stealing $8 and a Tony Hawk skateboard. One of the teens reportedly held a black revolver, police said. The pair then fled.

Cedar Avenue, unit block. Between 1:30 p.m., Oct. 5 and 7:15 a.m., Oct. 6. Someone reportedly wrote a racial slur in black marker on a desk in a Towson High School classroom.
Debaugh Avenue, 600 block. Between 7:45 a.m. and 1:05 p.m., Oct. 4. A 57-inch television, a Hewlett-Packard laptop and three video games were reported stolen from a home. The victim found the door open when she got home.
Regester Avenue, 700 block. 6 p.m., Oct. 4. Using a small screwdriver or crowbar, someone tried to break into a residence through a front door. No entry was gained and nothing was reported taken.
Hillendale
Rock Oak Road, 8600 block. Between 2 and 4 a.m., Oct. 9. A $900 mountain bike was reported stolen from a fenced-in yard.
Brooklandville
Falls Road, 10600 block. Between Sept. 2 and Oct. 1. Over the course of the month, someone stole a total of 2,119 gallons of gas from a State Highway Administration facility in three separate incidents.
