Towson Crime: Burglar Strikes Officer's Home

Glendale-Glenmont

Glendale Road, 1300 block. Between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. Nov. 9. Someone entered a police officer's home through a rear bedroom window and reportedly stole a handgun, $1,200, jewelry and purses.

Stevenson Lane, 1200 block. Between noon Nov. 11 and 7 a.m. Nov. 12. Copper drain spouts were reportedly removed from a home.

York Road, 8000 block. Between 2:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. Nov. 12. A Blackberry, MacBook Pro and HP Pavilion computer were reportedly taken from an apartment by unknown means. The doors and windows were locked, police said.

Baynesville

Joppa Road, 1700 block. 11:38 a.m. Nov. 11. A man with a handgun entered Goodwill through the back door, approached the manager and demanded money from the store's safe and registers, police said. He stole $2,046 and fled from the rear door.

The Quarter

Southerly Road, 900 block. Between 4:30 p.m. Nov. 8 and 9 a.m. Nov. 9. A Playstation 3 and hard drive were reported stolen. Police said they found no signs of forced entry.

Cedarcroft

York Road, 6300 block. Between 5:05 p.m. and 5:35 p.m. Nov. 9. A white 1985 Toyota Corolla was reported stolen by unknown means.

Campus Hills

Southwick Drive, 900 block. Between 10 a.m. and 10:47 p.m. Nov. 8. A home was reportedly ransacked. The report did not specify what was taken.

Loch Raven Village

Pleasant Plains Road, 8300 block. 5:11 a.m. Nov. 7. Two women, both domestic partners, got into an argument. One woman grabbed a knife and a struggle ensued, police said. One woman suffered a laceration on her hand. A short time later, police arrested Marquita Denise Hill-Willis, 25. She was charged with first-degree and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. She was released Nov. 8 on $10,000 bail.

Idlewylde

Litchfield Road, 1000 block. Between Nov. 1 and Nov. 6. A handgun, Bausch and Lomb microscope, silverware, a jewelry stand and costume jewelry were reported stolen from a home by unknown means.

Riderwood Hills

Donington Circle, 1100 block. 1 a.m. Nov. 10. According to a crime alert email, four to five men broke into an apartment in the Kenilworth at Charles Complex while the resident was there. One of the burglars reportedly had a handgun. The alert did not say what was stolen.
