Towson Crime: Victim Threatened with Gun, Robbed of Purse
The following information was supplied by the Towson precinct of the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Cottage Lane, 1600 block, between 9 p.m. Aug. 1 and 5 p.m. Aug. 2. A burglar stole a metal patio umbrella from the yard.
Oakleigh Road and Taylor Avenue, at 9:20 p.m. July 30. A robber threatened a victim with a gun and stole a purse containing money and gift cards.
East Joppa Road, 1600 block, at 2:55 a.m. July 30. Five men broke into a garage and stole a dirt bike.
Ridgely Oak Road, 8000 block, at 2:15 a.m. July 29. Two robbers attempted to break into a home through the rear basement door but fled when confronted by the victim.
Overbrook Road, 700 block, between 10:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. July 29. A burglar stole electronics from a home.
