UM St. Joseph Breast Health Center Welcomes Dr. Suliat Nurudeen
Breast Health Center Medical Director and breast surgeon Dr. Suliat Nurudeen is dedicated to advanced, empowering breast health care

University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center is proud to welcome breast surgeon Suliat Nurudeen, MD, MPH, FACS, as the medical director of The Breast Health Center. Dr. Nurudeen is a breast surgical oncologist specializing in the treatment of all forms of breast disease. Her clinical interests include neoadjuvant breast cancer treatment-or pre-surgical breast cancer therapies for stronger outcomes-as well as breast-conserving therapies.
Together with Ethan Rogers, MD, and the entire Breast Health Center team, Dr. Nurudeen continues to champion the patient's voice in clinical decision-making with a singular commitment to the development of treatment plans that are effective, personalized and aimed at a comprehensive recovery.
"I'm proud to lead and be part of a team of experts dedicated to a thoroughly advanced and individualized approach to breast health care," Dr. Nurudeen said. "Our Breast Health Center offers advanced screening and diagnosis, access to patient support services for strengthened physical and emotional well-being, and a team of oncologists across a range of specialties that reviews treatment plans weekly, to ensure that our patients are getting exactly the care they need at every point in their treatment journey."

The Breast Health Center at UM St. Joseph offers:

- Advanced diagnostic technology to precisely pinpoint cancers and facilitate timely and effective treatment
- Patient nurse navigator services including our Survivors Offering Support (SOS) program and more
