A Family Affair Children's Center

We have a full preschool program serving children ages two through five years old. We use creative curriculum which is a theme based, teacher created curriculum. We have a music teacher who comes once a week and we take several field trips a year. Our 2’s and 3’s Program In our 2’s and 3’s room we focus on helping children master self-care tasks such as toilet-training and using cups and forks as well as building social skills. We also lay the foundation for future academic learning with the basics such as the alphabet, colors, and basic math skills such as patterns and counting. Our 4’s and 5’s Program Our 4’s and 5’s program focuses on Kindergarten readiness. We cover all developmental areas including literacy, math concepts, science, social skills, music, and art all couched within a fun and interactive theme such as “Animals” or “The Beach.” Learning activities related to each of those topics are done throughout the week. Before and After School Care We provide before and after school care for children who attend Pine Grove or Harford Hills Elementary. We are open when schools are closed. We do a variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as: ○ Table games ○ Crafts ○ Legos ○ Outdoor play We also offer homework help, a morning and afternoon snack. Children are picked up and dropped off from the center by the BCPS bus system. Summer Camp We offer a school age summer camp for Kindergarten—5th graders. You might be represented by a different Congressional district after the General Assembly votes on Here's how things shake out for Towson, assuming there are no amendments or legal challenges. Under Gov. Martin O'Malley's plan, approved by the State Senate Tuesday and now headed for a House of Delegates vote, most of Towson would be in District 2, currently represented by <a href="http://dutch.house.gov" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Dutch Ruppersberger</a>. In the plan, his district (in green) includes most of Towson south of the Beltway and east of York Road, plus most of Towson University. If you live in Hampton, east of Dulaney Valley Road and west of Providence Road, you'll be in District 1 (in purple), represented by <a href="http://harris.house.gov/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Andy Harris.</a> District 3 (in pink), currently represented by Ruxton resident , includes that neighborhood and most of Towson west of York Road and south of Joppa Road, including Riderwood, Lake Roland and some of Rodgers Forge (north of Regester Avenue). His district, which stretches to Annapolis, then curves around the city to include Parkville, Canton and Catonsville.
