Woman Killed In I-695 Crash Near Greenspring Avenue: Police
Police said a tractor-trailer hit three vehicles, and one person was fatallly injured after her minivan was pushed into a jersey wall.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — One woman died in a four-vehicle crash Tuesday on Interstate 695 near Greenspring Avenue, according to police. Two people were taken to area hospitals following the wreck, which began with a tractor-trailer, authorities reported.
Paula Jeanne Roberts, 62, of Baltimore, was taken to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, where she later died, officials said.
The crash happened before 3:30 p.m. on the inner loop of the beltway, police reported.

A Volvo tractor-trailer hit the Dodge Caravan that Roberts had been driving, pushing it from the road into a jersey wall, according to authorities.
Then the tractor-trailer rear-ended a Hyundai Santa Fe and sideswiped a Toyota Avalon, police said.

A woman driving the Hyundai Santa Fe was taken to GBMC in Towson, officials reported.
Three right lanes on I-695 were closed for nearly three hours due to the crash, police said.
Sarabjit Singh, 50, of Newark, Del., was identified as the driver of the tractor-trailer.
The Maryland State Police Crash Team is still investigating the cause of the deadly collision, authorities reported Wednesday, adding that the Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office will decide whether any charges may be filed.
