On Friday, hosted its annual Patriots and Defenders assembly.
The assembly is the capstone of the six-week Patriots and Defenders program for the school's fourth and fifth graders.
In addition to memorizing the preamble to the U.S. Constitution and other civic lessons, students were also asked to submit essays and posters based on President John F. Kennedy's famous quote: "Ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country."
