McDaniel College Earns Military Friendly® Schools Gold Award
In honor of Military Appreciation Month, McDaniel has been recognized among the nation's top schools for military and veteran students.

McDaniel College has been named among Military Friendly® Schools, earning a gold award as one of the nation’s top schools for military and veteran students.
Compiled annually by Viqtory with input from the Military Friendly® Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community, the 2024-25 list is published in the May issue of “G.I. Jobs®” magazine, as well as online at MilitaryFriendly.com, in honor of Military Appreciation Month.
McDaniel has been consecutively recognized since the list was first published in 2009 and is highlighted among those that are truly doing "better for veterans."

The Green Terror Battalion Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) is one of the nation’s oldest ROTC programs founded at McDaniel College in 1919. McDaniel also offers a guaranteed Military Legacy Scholarship, valued at up to $120,000 over four years, to all military veterans, active-duty military personnel and their children. In addition, the college participates in the Post-9/11 GI Bill and Yellow Ribbon Program, which covers up to the cost of full tuition at McDaniel.

McDaniel College, founded in 1867, is a four-year, independent college of the liberal arts and sciences offering more than 70 undergraduate programs of study, including pre-professional specializations and student-designed majors, and over 20 graduate programs.
