Westminster Barrack Hosts Open House to Stuff A Truck Event this Weekend
Maryland State Police hosts a 'fun for all ages' open house to stuff a truck for the Maryland Food Bank.

WESTMINSTER, MD – In honor of Hunger Action Month, state troopers from the Westminster Barrack will do their part in the fight against hunger by hosting an Open House and Stuff A Truck event this Sunday, September 25th to benefit the Maryland Food Bank.
The open house event will feature tours, a dunking booth, safety seat checks, cornhole, and other activities.

The event will be held 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (with barrack tours at 11am, 12noon and 1pm) at Westminster Barrack, 1100 Baltimore Boulevard, Westminster, MD 218157.
The event is a statewide partnership between the Maryland State Police, the Maryland Department of Transportation, and the Maryland Food Bank to collect nonperishable food donations throughout September.
Statewide, MSP and MDOT representatives will be out in full force for the month-long collection effort. A list of events can be found here. The webpage also includes MDOT locations that will accept food donations throughout September. Individuals can also use the food bank’s virtual food drive platform to donate food online here.
