18-Year-Old Wheaton Man Still Missing After More Than 1 Month: Police

WHEATON, MD — Montgomery County Police detectives are asking the public's help in locating a Wheaton man who has been missing for more than a month, according to a release.

Luis Enrique Ortiz, 18, was last seen on Nov. 29, 2022, in the 12000 block of Berry Street, according to police. Ortiz's family and police are concerned about his welfare.

Police described Ortiz as standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 220 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information about Ortiz's whereabouts is asked to call the 24-hour, police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 or MCDP's Major Crimes Division – Cold Case Unit at 240-773-5070. Callers are not required to identify themselves.
