Armed, Masked Men Rob Wheaton Gas Station: Police
Two masked men threatened an employee and demanded money at a Wheaton gas station, police said.

WHEATON, MD — Detectives are seeking the public's assistance in identifying two armed men who robbed a BP gas station in Wheaton.
The masked men, dressed in all black, entered the gas station at 2201 University Blvd. W. and confronted an adult employee who was working behind the counter.
One suspect who was armed with a gun threatened the employee and demanded money from the register, police said. The men obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled from the scene.

The suspects were last seen on foot on Amherst Avenue toward Blueridge Avenue, police said.
Anyone with information regarding the suspects or this armed robbery is asked to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5100. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest in this case.
