Car Runs Through Aspen Hill Tailor Shop Window
No customers were in the store at the time, the owner said.
A car crashed through the front window of Abraham's Custom Tailor shop at 2:10 p.m. in the shopping center at the corner of Layhill Road and Bel Pre Road.
Montgomery County police confirmed the time of the accident and said that the driver of the Jaguar was transported to a local hospital in an ambulance. Police have not released details, but ABC7 reported that the 82-year-old driver had sustained minor injuries.
Abraham Cho, 67, has owned the tailor shop for 21 years and told Patch that he was in the back room when he heard the car break through the storefront. His wife, Young, 61, had just entered the front room before the impact, but she was not struck by the debris, Cho said. However, he said that she was taken to the hospital for heart problems.
