Fire Department Responds to Fire on Renfrew Road
No injuries were reported from the residential fire Thursday night.

Firefighters responded to a fire at 8:55 p.m. Thursday in the 10100 block of Renfrew Road, in the neighborhood between Dennis Avenue and the Beltway.
They initially believed that the fire was spreading on the first floor, but upon arrival discovered that the fire was in the walls of a first floor bathroom, said Captain Oscar Garcia of the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service.
Garcia said that all of the occupants had exited the home before the fire department arrived. There were no injuries, Garcia said.
The exact cause of the fire is unknown, but Garcia said it appears that there was some work being done on the home. The extent of the damage is unknown at this time.
