As construction goes forward, we encourage you to take photos and upload them to this gallery so that everyone on Patch can keep track of progress. ------------------------------ During construction, <a href="https://wheaton-md.patch.com/listings/glenallan-elementary-school" rel="nofollow">Glenallan Elementary School</a> students are taking classes at a holding site in Silver Spring, Fairland Center. Glenallan is <a href="http://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/bulletin/article.aspx?id=204217" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">one of six Montgomery County elementary schools</a> that moved during winter break. Three, including Glenallan, are currently at holding sites, and another three moved from those same holding sites back into the renovated school buildings. Students and parents said goodbye to the old Glenallan school building on Heurich Road at a <a href="https://wheaton-md.patch.com/articles/one-last-chance-to-roam-the-halls" rel="nofollow">Dec. 21 Farewell Tea</a> before the start of winter break.
