Montgomery County Police report several strong-arm robberies in the Wheaton area.

The Montgomery County Police have released the latest crime statistics for the Fourth District, from Jan. 9-17. This list is not comprehensive, but rather selects the ones that occurred in or very near Wheaton. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Residential burglary
A residential burglary occurred in the 12500 block of Winexburg Manor Drive, Wheaton, on Jan. 11 at 3:20 p.m. Unknown means of entry. Nothing was taken. Arrested: Female, age 24 from Wheaton.
Strong-arm robbery
A strong-arm robbery occurred in the parking lot of the Korean Korner, 12207 Veirs Mill Road, Silver Spring, on Jan. 10 at 7:57 a.m. The suspects forcefully removed property from the victim. Suspects: two Hispanic males, both 22 - 25, 5’6”, 160 lbs, black ski masks
A strong-arm robbery occurred in the rear of Popeye’s, 12102 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, on Jan. 12 at 6:30 p.m. Arrested: three males, age 21, from Wheaton
A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 2100 block of Randolph Road, Wheaton, on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 3:55 a.m. The suspects forcefully removed the victim’s property. Suspects: two black males, both 25-27, 5’10” to 6’2”, 150-160 lbs., with short hair.
Aggravated assault
An aggravated assault occurred in the 11700 block of Hatcher Place, North Kensington, on Jan. 16 at 5:30 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.
Arrested: Male, age 30, from North Kensington.
