Police Seek Missing Kemp Mill Teen

Randy Aaron Powell, 13, was last seen at about 4 p.m. Friday, police said.

KEMP MILL, MD — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Kemp Mill teenager.

Randy Aaron Powell, 13, was last seen at about 4 p.m. Friday in the area of the 1800 block of Franwall Avenue.

Powell is described as a white male, about 5’4” and weighs about 130 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black torn jeans over black running pants and purple suede Timberland boots, police said. Powell has a white cast on his left hand.

Powell is known to frequent the downtown Wheaton area, the Kemp Mill area, and Flower Avenue in Silver Spring. He is familiar with public transportation, police.

Police and family are concerned for Randy Powell’s welfare. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Randy Powell is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Department’s non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
