Police Seek Wheaton Bank Robber
Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a Wheaton bank Tuesday.

WHEATON, MD — Police are searching for a man who robbed a PNC Bank in Wheaton Tuesday afternoon and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
The unidentified man walked into the PNC Bank inside the Giant Food store at 2900 University Blvd W. at about 2:18 p.m. Tuesday.
He allegedly handed a note to the teller demanding money, and the teller cooperated. The man obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled from the bank, police said.

He was last seen on foot in the area of the 11100 block of Veirs Mill Rd.
Anyone with information about the suspect or this bank robbery is asked to call police at 240-773-5100. To be eligible for a $10,000 reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).
