1. Today’s forecast: Mostly cloudy, with highs in the upper 50s. Expect some rain in the evening. As temperatures plummet to the low 30s later tonight, the rain may turn into snow, but with little or no accumulation.

2. Happening today in Wheaton: St. John the Evangelist School will hold an  from 8:30-11:30 a.m.

3. In case you missed it on Patch yesterday, Montgomery County police have linked . Police say the same man is the suspect in both cases and have released a surveillance photo of him.

4. Congratulations to Stephanie Marquez, a student at Wheaton High School, on receiving a fully paid, four-year Posse Foundation scholarship. She will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, according to an MCPS announcement earlier this week.
