Popular NYC Eatery To Open In MA + Boston's Best Spots: MA Food Week

MASSACHUSETTS — Welcome to Patch's weekly round up of food and restaurant news in Massachusetts, where we review openings, closings and more in the state's dining scene.

Nowon, the popular Korean gastropub making waves in New York City, will open its first location outside of the five boroughs in Boston's Seaport.

Exclusive previews are scheduled over the next few days, with an official opening slated for Tuesday at 5 p.m.

The restaurant was founded by chef Jae Lee in 2019 and has developed a following that deems the burger from Nowon as the best in New York City.

Boston's restaurant will operate at 119 Seaport Boulevard.

Also this week, we learned one staple Worcester restaurant has been put up for sale, a new sushi spot is coming to Melrose and a nationwide Mediterranean restaurant is set to open in Newton.
