A Second First Day of School for Acton Students
We've got five things you need to see, do and know on Aug. 28 in Acton.

1. First Day of School: While many of Acton's students started yesterday, students in grades 8, 10, 11 and 12 will start today, Aug. 28.
2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for today include the Morrison Farm Committee at 7:30 a.m. at Acton Town Hall, the School Committees transition policy subcommittee at 8:15 a.m. at RJ Grey Junior High School, the Land Stewardship Committee at 4 p.m. at Acton Town Hall, the Acton 2020 Committee at 7:30 p.m. at Acton Town Hall and the Transportation Advisory Committee at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall.
