Acton Student Hit by Car Getting on School Bus
The 6 year old student was relatively unharmed and is now out of the hospital.

A 6 year old student from Acton was hit by a driver while trying to get on the school bus.
The student was hit Thursday morning and was released from Emmerson Hospital Thursday for “relatively minor injuries”.
The incident occurred at School Street near Parker Street at 8:52 a.m on Thursday, October 15th. The Student was getting on the stopped school bus when they were hit by the passenger side of the car.

The driver has been identified as a 28-year-old resident of Acton who lives on School Street. The driver has been cited for operating unlicensed and for failure to stop for a school bus while signaling.
