Boston Magazine School Rankings: See Where Acton Finished

ACTON-BOXBOROUGH, MA — Boston Magazine has released their rankings of the best public high schools.

Using data from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Boston Magazine's team compiled the best public schools that are within, or partially within, I-495.

Acton-Boxborough finished first out of the 149 schools that were ranked. The rankings were determined by factors such as SAT scores, student-teacher ratios, graduation rates, according to the magazine.

Here's how Acton-Boxborough's neighboring communities ranked:

• Maynard High School ranked at No. 91
• Concord-Carlisle Regional High School ranked at No. 7
• Littleton High School ranked No. 2
