Each year, Acton Congregational Church conducts a Longest Night worship service in recognition that the holiday season can be challenging for those dealing with loss and loneliness. This contemplative service invites us to slow down, breathe, and gently enter the presence of God. Through music, poetry, and scripture, we will explore the places of ache and tenderness in the human spirit. 
Come as you are. Come with what you carry. Here,&nbsp;there is space for grief, healing, and sacred rest.

In a dream, God speaks into his fear: Do not be afraid.&nbsp;The child will be called Emmanuel—God with us—a promise that God shows up not in certainty, but in vulnerability and human messiness.When Joseph wakes, the situation hasn’t changed—but he has. He chooses presence over distance, love over fear, and reaches out his hand so Mary does not face the unknown alone. This Christmas, Joseph’s story asks us where we are being called to do the same: to offer our hand, to accept help, and to trust that God is with us in the reaching.Come and worship with us on Sunday, December 21st, at 9:30am. During this Fourth Sunday of Advent, as we welcome Rev. Karen Hodges, Interim Minister, to the pulpit. She will lead us in a service full of prayer, scripture, reflection, and inspiration.
No matter who you are, whom you love, or wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome at ACC, an open and affirming congregation.

In truth, most of us have a combination of the above feelings and&nbsp;thoughts.
