Essence of India Coming to Acton

Check out who from Acton recently graduated from college.

1. The Essence of India event will be in Acton on Aug. 17 at NARA Park. This cultural event will include a range of activities to keep guests entertained and engaged. Indian music, food, and various workshops will be on hand during much of the four hour festival. This is free to the public and will take place from 3-7 p.m. It will be catered by Monsoon Indian Bistro.

4. The peak of the Perseids meteor shower is this weekend, and with the moon not casting too much light, you’ll have a good chance to see the celestial show. 

5. Forecast:

Friday: Mainly cloudy. Lots of storms and downpours. Very few dry times. Sticky and warm. Near 80.

Saturday: Early clouds, spot shower first thing in the morning on the Cape/Islands, then increasing sun. Lowering humidity too. Mid 80s.

Sunday: Sunny, mild and dry. About 80.
