Injured Motorist, Bat in a House and More From the Acton Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on July 29:

  • A Massachusetts Avenue resident reported people were on his roof and that his life was in danger. Responding officers checked the roof and found nothing.
  • An officer was dispatched to Robinwood Road for a malicious destruction report.
  • Emergency personnel was dispatched to Martin Street for a report of an accident with injuries. A motor vehicle struck a pole. One person was transported to Emerson Hospital with unknown injuries.
  • A McKinley Drive resident reported a bat had been in the house for more than a week. Responding officer was unable to locate the bat.
  • A dog on Knowlton Drive allegedly caused a bicyclist to fall and chased a motorcycle down the street.
  • Residents on Heritage and Lawsbrook roads reported hearing kids on dirt bikes behind their houses. The responding officer reported the bikes were too far in the woods to locate but was able to hear them.
