Loud Drumming, Illegal Dumping and More from the Acton Police Log
The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on July 28:
- Officers responded to a Windsor Avenue residence for a report of a disturbance. People next door were talking loudly on the phone but agreed to quiet down.
- A Martha Lane resident reported people next door were playing drums loudly at about 12:30 a.m. Responding officers advised them to stop for the night.
- A person on Great Road reported a male party was planning to do some illegal dumping in the Subway Dumpster but got back in his car when noticing the reporting party. Police planned to contact management regarding a no-trespass order.
- Acton police and fire officials responded to Hammond Street for a report of a tree down. There was a request to close the road so NSTAR to tend to downed wires.
- An officer was dispatched to a Great Road business for a report of a larceny. A woman stated an employee quit the previous day but did not return the keys.
- A woman on Central Street reported her purse was stolen.
- A motor vehicle operator was cited for parking on a private access road.
