Missing Massachusetts Woman Found Dead In Vermont
Now Vermont State Police are trying to locate and speak with 23-year-old Mary Anderson's former boyfriend Matthew Davis, 34, of Fitchburg.

HARVARD, MA — Vermont State Police say they have identified the woman who was found dead inside a truck in Brattleboro, VT Tuesday morning as 23-year-old Mary Anderson, of Harvard, MA.
Anderson was last seen in Hudson, NH around 10:30 p.m. Saturday driving a blue 2017 Toyota Tacoma with a Massachusetts license plate 8DXW20.
That same truck was found Tuesday morning around 12:55 a.m., with her body in it, police said.

Now officers are looking to find and speak with Anderson's former boyfriend, Matthew Davis, 34, of Fitchburg, MA. Police did not name him as a suspect, but wanted to gather information relevant to the case as part of their investigation.

Davis is described as being a white man about 5'6" tall with brown hair and blue eyes. Police say Davis also has connections in the Pittsfield area.

The medical examiner is expected to perform an autopsy to determine Anderson's exact cause of death, as the state in which her body was found has not yet been revealed.
Anderson's family told police they were initially worried about her when they didn't hear back from her Saturday. They called her disappearance "uncharacteristic" and suspected foul play, officially reporting her missing Sunday morning when she didn't come home Saturday night.
