Moms Rock at The Discovery Museums in Acton

1. Moms — and grandmothers, sisters, aunts, and others — are amazing and 

spectacular! Use common and natural materials to 
create a beautiful sun catcher to decorate your windows at home inspired by 
one of the many ways in which they rock. Lesson begins at 10 a.m. at the Discovery classroom.

These specially-trained dogs have served the Sandy Hook Elementary School and those affected by the Boston Marathon Bombing. The Comfort Dog K9 Program is a ministry of Lutheran Church Charities (LCC).

The LCC’s ministries are domestic and international in scope and provide nutrition, healthcare, education to the most needy.

A full schedule for the dogs includes visits to the Marlborough Hospital, Acton Police Department, and the Acton Life Care Center.

At 5 p.m., they will be at the Community Supper at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Residents are invited to visit Addie and Maggie at Mt. Calvary between 5 and 6 p.m.
