New Acton Location Offers In-Person Therapy & Tutoring Services
Local businesses bring vital mental health and education services to Metrowest, expanding support for students & families in the community.
Open Door Education, a leader in educational services in the Acton-Boxborough community, and Prism Therapy Collective, a trusted provider of inclusive, comprehensive mental health care, will open their new locations at 268 Main Street in Acton. Situated in the heart of Kelley’s Corner, this central location was chosen to ensure accessibility and convenience for students and families across the MetroWest community.
The new space at Kelley’s Corner will be home to Prism Therapy Collective’s clinical and diagnostic professionals and an extension of Open Door Education’s tutoring, test prep, and other educational support services. This collaboration seeks to provide academic coaching and life skills development with mental health support and diagnostics, recognizing the intrinsic link between emotional well-being and success in education.
Prism Therapy Collective is excited to meet the growing demand for in-person therapy and counseling, diagnostic neuropsychological testing, and executive function support. Led by internationally recognized expert and clinician Rebecca Minor, LICSW, Prism is an essential resource for the MetroWest community to ensure it is better equipped to support its members’ mental health needs and foster a resilient community.

For over 13 years, Open Door Education has supported students and families at their 492 Main Street location in Acton. This additional location will enable Open Door to expand its educational services, including small group classes, one-on-one tutoring for students in elementary and middle school, and seminars and workshops for parents. Open Door’s current location will remain the central location for Open Door Education’s academic tutoring and test prep services.
