Police Log: Screaming Kids, an ATV at the Cemetery
The following information was provided by the Acton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Aug. 24
3:30 a.m. – Police responded to a reported alarm activation on Mohawk Drive. The building checked secure.
4:22 a.m. – A Main Street resident called 911 to report hearing someone downstairs. The person turned out to be the caller’s daughter, according to the log note.

11:09 a.m. – A caller reported a man outside CVS on Mass Ave asking for money. The responding officer found the man outside Middlesex Savings Bank and transported him to the commuter lot.
11:22 a.m. – Police responded to a report of vehicles parked on both sides of Central Street, blocking traffic.

2:38 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Main Street.
7:38 p.m. – Police responded to Black Horse Drive, for a report of vehicles parked on both sides of the road causing a traffic hazard.
8:59 p.m. – A downed tree-limb was reported on Simon Willard Road. Most of the branch was removed, and the rest was roped off, according to the log entry.
Sunday, Aug. 25
1:31 a.m. – A Main Street resident reported neighbors making a lot of noise and keeping him awake.
10:29 a.m. – Police responded to Hayward Road, where a woman reportedly fell off of her bike. She was gone on arrival.
12:21 p.m. – Police responded to Iris Court to speak with a person about kids screaming outside and causing a disturbance.
1:04 p.m. – An Iris Court resident called to complain about children outside screaming; the woman said she wanted them spoken to.
7:58 p.m. – Police responded to a report of an ATV riding behind Hope Cemetery. The responding officer checked the area, but nothing was found.
