Chickens Loose on Dascomb Road

Thursday, Aug. 4
At 4:57 a.m. a caller reported that the railroad gates were stuck in the down position at Andover Street. The railroad company was notified and took care of the problem.

At 8:15 a.m. a caller reported loose chickens wandering in the roadway on Dascomb Road. The animal control officer responded and the animals were moved back into their yard.
At 8:51 a.m. a caller reported that his motor vehicle was stolen on Grandview Terrace.

At 8:55 a.m. a two-car motor vehicle accident was reported on Burnham Road. No injuries were reported.
At 11:21 a.m. a caller reported people panhandling on North Main Street. An officer told them to stay out of the road.
At 8:32 p.m. a caller reported a raccoon stuck in a Dumpster on Washington Park drive. The animal control officer was notified.
