Egging is Part of Soccer Prank

The following are excerpts from the log. The log is open to the public.

Monday, Aug. 15

At 8:54 a.m. a Wildwood Road resident reported that someone was waiting in a motor vehicle outside of his house and then started to follow him around after he left. An officer filed the incident with the suspicious vehicle’s license plate number.

At 9:04 a.m. a Shandel Circle resident reported eggs being thrown at her home.

At 9:15 a.m. a resident reported her car was broken into on Ivana Drive.

At 2:33 p.m. a motorist reported that a tree branch came down onto his car and broke his windshield while driving on Lowell Street. He was not injured. An officer assisted in his transportation to Raytheon.

At 10:19 p.m. a caller reported that her house was egged for the third time in the past two weeks on Mayflower Road. An officer informed her that this was not a case of vandalism but a prank the High School soccer team plays on the coach. No damage to the house was reported and the resident was satisfied with the explanation.
