Here are five things to this weekend that don't require much travel.

It’s Friday and we’ve got some ideas to help you plan a fun weekend but, at the same time, stay local. From live music to art exhibits, we are showcasing some enriching experiences this weekend for Andover Patch readers.

Where/When: Saturday, July 23, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Why Go: Find all your locally produced fruits, vegetables and other food items at the Andover Farmers’ Market at the Andover Historical Society at their house on Main street.

Where/When: Saturday, July 23 at various locations in and around Andover.

Why Go: Go out and find a deal or two at a number of yard sales in the area. Find our weekend yard sale post at 3 p.m.

When: Saturday, July 23, 12 p.m., 117 Main St, North Andover

Why Go: The Wine Connextion in North Andover is featuring wok cooking, a kung fu show and, of course, wine pairing. Experts at the Wine Connextion will show how to pair wine with Sichuan and Cantonese dishes.

When and Where: 9 p.m., Saturday, July 23, Palmer’s Restaurant, 18 Elm St.
