House Break Reported on Pinecrest Road

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Tuesday, July 26

At 2:17 a.m. a caller reported strange noises coming from his garage on Chandler Road and thought that someone may have been attempting to break in. Nothing was found in the area and the call appears to be accidental.

At 9:04 a.m. a caller reported a 10-year-old boy that was stung by a bee about seven times on Woburn Street. The boy was taken to Holy Family Hospital.

At 10:19 a.m. a caller reported that his home was broken into on Pinecrest Road.

At 10:51 a.m. a caller reported kids playing street hockey in the roadway on Westwind Road and not moving for cars. A police sergeant stopped by and had the kids move to a yard.

At 6:45 p.m. an individual working at a home reported that someone had stolen a recycling cart from their yard on Hidden Road. An officer filed the incident.

At 8:11 p.m. a caller on Stirling Street reported that his mountain bike was stolen with in the last hour.

At 11:45 p.m. a car accident was reported on North Main Street. Minor injuries were reported.
