Man Says Neighbor Wants to 'Bushwack' Him

Thursday, March 31

At 5:17 a.m., North Reading Police received a call about a female curled up in a ball on the side of the road on Rt. 125 with no shoes on. North Reading Police told Andover Police. The woman was picked up by another person. She refused medical treatment.

At 10 a.m., a person reported being approached by a man while pumping gas on North Main Street. The man demanded $100.

A tree was reported down on High Street at Old Berry Road at 6:14 a.m. The tree department was notified.

At 8 a.m., police responded to the high school for a report one student was assaulted by two other students. Two juveniles were arrested and charged with two counts of assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, disturbing school and conspiracy.

At 5:38 p.m., kids skateboarding in the street were reported on Swan Lane. Police took the kids to the station for their parents to pick them up.

At 8 p.m., a male from the group home on North Street was reportedly harassing customers at Andover Mobile. The man was taken back to the residence.

At 8:51 p.m., police responded to a domestic situation on Woodhaven Drive.

Jodi B. Yameem, 51, 4 Pilgrim Dr. Andover, was arrested Thursday at 9:15 p.m. and charged with driving without a license, having a vehicle not meeting safety standards and driving while under the influence of alcohol (third offense).

Friday, June 1

At 9:42 a.m., a resident of Stinson Road reported she believed someone was in her garage earlier and items were missing.

At 9:50 a.m., Andover Police aided Tewksbury Police with a search for an Alzheimer's patient.  The party was found.

At 12:43 p.m., a Summer Street resident reported they had a bat in their house overnight but were not sure if anyone was bitten.

A bird was reported wrapped in fishing line on Harold Parker Road at 1:35 p.m.

At 5:43 p.m., police aided the fire department with a brush fire on River Road.

Saturday, June 2

1:12 p.m., tires were reported dumped on the side of the road on Rutgers Road.

At 10:53 p.m. loud neighbors were reported on Haverhill St.

At 11:58 p.m. on Saturday, Stephen C. Nadhemy, 58, 311 Lowell St., Andover, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, leaving the scene of property damage and driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense.) 

Sunday, June 3

Eddie Santos, 20, 181 Bailey St., Lawrence, was arrested Sunday at 3:18 a.m. and charged with driving without a license, driving with an open container of alcohol and an equipment violation.

Bradford Miller, 18, 18 Dale St., Andover, was arrested Sunday at 3:51 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and using a vehicle without authority.

A juvenile was arrested on Sunday at 4:54 a.m. and charged with being a person under 21 in possession of alcohol and disorderly conduct.

A juvenile was arrested on Sunday at 5:11 a.m. and charged with possession of alcohol while under 21 and disorderly conduct.

Julia M. Brem, 19, 100 Long Ridge Rd., Carlisle, was arrested Sunday at 6:18 a.m. and charged with possession of alcohol while under 21.

Kaitlin M. Mitchell, 18, 16 Bridle Path Rd., Andover, was arrested Sunday at 6:30 a.m. and charged with possession of alcohol under 21 with intent to deliver/sell, posession of alcohol while under 21, and keeping a disorderly home.

At 5:47 a.m., a resident called police to ask advice on pictures his neighbor has of him and his wife.

Vandalism to a mailbox was reported on Bridle Path Road at 6:05 a.m.

A wallet was found on Haverhill Street at 3:12 p.m.

At 7:52 p.m. a resident of Post Office Ave. reported to police he could hear his neighbors planning to have him “bushwacked by ten guys” The neighbor was not home, according to police. The person later called back to report his neighbor was watching him through the ceiling tiles. The man was transported to the hospital.
