Methuen Man Charged with Driving without a License

Wednesday, Aug. 3
At 10:37 a.m. a caller reported a two-car accident involving a telephone pole on Lowell Street. Multiple wires were down and a small grass fire started nearby. National Grid and the responded.

At 11:41 a.m. a caller reported a dog that was whining and foaming at the mouth on Stoneybrook Circle. The Animal Control officer responded. The dog had a seizure and the owner was home shortly after.
At 2:04 p.m. a caller reported two males walking around in the neighborhood on Patriot Drive. The two men turned out to be solicitors for Verizon, but did not register and, therefore, were sent on their way.

At 2:27 p.m. police arrested Jose Mario Carrillo, 34, of 4 Union St., Methuen, on Clark Road. Carrillo was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license, speeding, and failure to wear a seatbelt.
At 8:33 p.m. a caller reported a man with a child checking all of the car doors in a parking lot on Bulfinch Drive. An officer caught up with the individual.
