Moped Driver Charged with Possession of Class B Substance
The police logs for Tuesday, July 19 contained one arrest and several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.
At 11:43 a.m. a one-car accident was reported on Harold Parker Road. An ambulance was requested for possible injuries.
At 2:20 p.m. a walk-in visitor to the police station reported that he was threatened by an individual who owed him money on Main Street.

At 2:30 p.m. police arrested Michael J. Facella, 47, of 665 Main St., Boxford, on River Road. Facella was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, a motorcycle equipment violation and possession of a class B substance (cocaine), subsequent offense. Facella was driving a moped on River Road without a helmet when pulled over by police. A subsequent investigation by the officer led to his arrest on charges of a revoked license and possession of an illegal substance.
At 2:54 p.m. a motor vehicle accident was reported on North Main Street. No injuries were reported.

At 7:32 p.m. a caller reported a one-car accident on Lowell Street. A telephone pole was struck and National Grid was notified about the damage. No injuries were reported.
