Police Respond to Accident Involving Horse

The State Police in Andover say that a horse involved with an accident on Interstate 495 is now walking around and appears fine. Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 495 south at approximately 10:30 a.m. this morning.

Police say that the accident involved a rollover with a horse trailer and the horse was on its side at one point. State Police are now reporting that the horse is upright and walking.

Only minor injuries were reported with one individual in the incident. 

The scene is still active and delays can be expected on Interstate 495 south in the area around between exit 40 and exit 39.
