Vegetables Stolen on Algonquin Avenue

Tuesday, Aug. 16

At 11:53 a.m. a caller reported a missing stop sign on Balmoral Street. The Department of Public Works was notified.

At 12:50 p.m. a walk-in visitor to the Police Station reported that someone stole his scooter from outside the Orange Leaf on Park Street.

At 4:55 p.m. two managers at Verizon on Shattuck Road reported that union members were harassing them. An officer filed the incident.

At 10:06 p.m. a caller reported that someone stole vegetables from her farm stand on Woburn Road. A white or cream-colored van with a loud muffler was seen leaving the farm stand at that time.

At 11:12 p.m. a caller reported two vehicles racing up and down Algonquin Avenue and said that one vehicle drove on his lawn. He was unable to get descriptions of the vehicles.
