Arlington MBTA Depot Available For Lease: Report

ARLINGTON, MA — The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority announced it has received bids for a commercial retail lease of an old bus depot, according to a report from YourArlington.

First built in 1955, the 800 square foot building is located on 1389 Massachusetts Ave. in Arlington Heights. It runs along three MBTA bus routes, with Route 77 running through approximately every 15 minutes. The structure was last used for a convenience store called The Right Stop.

The MBTA has suggested a minimum annual lease fee of $24,000 for the space. A winning bid is expected to be chosen within 30 days.
