Arlington Police Arrest Alleged Local Cocaine Dealer

Large quantity of cash, drugs, and a handgun were uncovered in the search.

Arlington Police Detectives and investigators assigned to the Southern Middlesex County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on Thursday, and as a result, Paul Santos, 32, of Arlington was arrested and charged with:

  • Trafficking a Class B Substance (Cocaine)
  • Illegal Possession of a Firearm
  • Illegal Possession of Ammunition
  • Illegal Possession of a High Capacity Feeding Device
  • School Zone Drug Violation

“Today’s arrest represents the culmination of a detailed investigation by Arlington Police Detectives, working hand-in-hand with our partner law enforcement agencies in Middlesex county,” Police Chief Frederick Ryan said in a statement. “It showcases the close working relationships enjoyed by municipal police officers in our region, and I am proud of this excellent work.”

A large quantity of cash, drugs, and a handgun were uncovered in the search. No one was injured in serving the search warrant. Santos is being held pending his arraignment on Friday in Cambridge District court.

These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty
