Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey Will Be in Arlington

"Detox happens in private, recovery happens in the community/"

The Arlington Youth Health & Safety Coalition will present, “The Opioid Crisis: Identifying Community Solutions in Arlington“, an Arlington Community Forum. The forum will feature a keynote presentation by the Massachusetts Attorney General, Maura Healey, and a panel discussion followed by a Q&A. Other panelists include:

  • Fred Ryan, Arlington Police Chief (panel moderator)
  • Marian Ryan, Middlesex District Attorney
  • Rebecca Wolfe, Arlington Police Department Clinical Responder
  • Mike Duggan, Founder of Wicked Sober
  • Dr. Alex Walley, Massachusetts DPH’s Opioid Overdose Prevention Pilot Program director

Please join the Coalition and community members on Tuesday, October 13th at 6:30pm at the Arlington Town Hall to hear from prevention and treatment experts from the state and local government, law enforcement, and medical professionals regarding what YOU can do as a community to aid in long-term recovery.
