Renovated Reservoir Beach Prepares For Summer In Arlington

The town is selling a limited amount of passes this year for the newly renovated beach, which now features a bathhouse and concession stand.

ARLINGTON, MA — Reservoir Beach will soon open for the summer in Arlington.

The Lowell Street beach was recently renovated and now features a filtered, chlorinated swimming area, bathhouse and concession stand. The beach will be supervised by certified lifeguards and other beach staff while open.

The summer 2021 beach season begins Monday, June 28 and runs through Friday, August 20. Beach hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Everyone over the age of 1 must display tags to the gate attendant to be admitted to the beach area. Reservoir Beach is open to residents and non-residents. See below for pricing:

  • Adult (Ages 18 years and over): $60.00
  • Children (Ages 1-17 years): $45.00
  • Seniors (Ages 60 years and over): $35.00
  • Family (includes 2 adults & 2 children): $160.00 ($20 for each additional child)
  • Day Pass: $6 per person over the age of 1
