Woman Threatened With Sharp Object At Courthouse Business: Police

A woman making a delivery at a business in the Courthouse area was threatened with a sharp object on Friday morning, according to police.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police arrested a 42-year-old man they say threatened a woman with a sharp object at a Courthouse-area business on Friday morning.

Officers responded around 5:09 a.m. for a suspicious person report at a business in the 2100 block of 15th Street N. The victim told police that she was making a delivery at the business when she was approached by a man who threatened her with a sharp object.

The man followed the victim around the business until an employee confronted him verbally, according to police. The man left the business and no injuries were reported.

After a lookout was broadcast, the officers who originally responded to the call located the suspect at the Courthouse Metro Station, where they took him into custody.

Police arrested 42-year-old Willie Jackson Jr. of an unknown residence and charged with attempted malicious wounding.
