Back Bay Hotels Back to Normal
After losing revenue due to the bombings and fallout, area hotels are bustling once again, according to the Boston Herald.

Despite the loss of thousands of dollars due to cancellations and lockdowns, many Back Bay area hotels are getting back to normal in the weeks following the Boston Marathon bombings, according to a Boston Herald article published Wednesday.
The Westin Copley Place lost about $500,000 in revenue, the Fairmont Copley Plaza's Oak Long Bar + Kitchen lost $25,000 to $30,000 and the Charlesmark Hotel canceled eight days of reservations and lost $100,000 to $150,000, according to the Herald.
Despite that, the hotels have been doing strong business since the area was re-opened to the public following the bombing investigation.

The Charlesmark told the paper they advertised reduced rates after re-opening last Wednesday and by the end of the day were completely sold out, and have been sold out ever since.
General manager Mike Jorgensen from the Westin Copley Place told the paper his hotel is now doing better than it did at this time a year ago.
