Blue Cross/Blue Shield Moving Headquarters to Prudential Center Complex
The insurance company will open in 330,000 square feet of office space at 101 Huntington Ave. when its current lease in Fenway expires in 2015.

Back Bay will be the new home for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
The insurance company is moving it's headquarters into 330,000 square feet at 101 Huntington Ave. in the when it's lease at Fenway's Landmark Center expires in 2015. The agreement was confirmed on Thursday.
The Back Bay location is ideal based on the undisclosed terms of the lease and its proximity to the MBTA, Blue Cross CEO Andrew Dreyfus told the Boston Herald.

“At a time when we’re doing all we can to keep our administrative costs as low as possible, 101 Huntington proved to be the most affordable option that will best meet the needs of our business and our valued associates,” CEO Andrew Dreyfus said in a prepared statement.
The 25-story tower contains more than 500,000 square feet of office space and is owned by Boston Properties. Blue Cross also has office locations in Quincy and Hingham and warehouse space in South Boston.
