Haru Raises Over $20,000 For One Fund
Back Bay Japanese restaurant matched the sales of two Boston specialty rolls for the Boston Marathon victims fund.

Haru, a Japanese restaurant in Back Bay located a block away from the finish line of the Boston Marathon, recently announced they donated more than $20,000 to the One Fund Boston.
According to a statetment, Haru started the fundraising initiative on April 24. They pledged to donate, and match, 100 percent of the sales from their Boston unCommon and Back Bay specialty sushi rolls to the One Fund Boston.
Haru said they sold $10,332 worth of the specialty rolls, bringing the total of their donation to $20,664.
