Police: Two Men Brawled in Lenox Hotel Lobby

Police were called in to break up a nasty fight in front of the Lenox hotel Tuesday morning.

According to the police report, a pedestrian waved down an officer assigned to the marathon finish line area. The person and said there was a problem in front of the Lenox Hotel. When the officer headed over to the area, he saw two men fighting.

According to the officer, one man was pushing the other against the front doors of the hotel and clawing at his face. The officer separated the two and tried to speak to the victim. All of a sudden, the other man lunged, grabbed the victim’s shirt and pushed him against the wall.

The officer said he then separated the two again and arrested Lane Stupell of 18 Claymoss Road, Brighton, and charged him with assault and battery.
