Police: West Roxbury Man Charged with Shoplifting

A West Roxbury man was charged with shoplifting from the CVS at 231 Mass. Ave.

Boston Police responded to a report of a shoplifter at the CVS at 231 Mass. Ave. at 4:06 p.m. on June 14.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the store employees who called in the report. They told police that at about 3:15 p.m., they observed a man pull various items into his jacket. The employee stopped the man before he exited the store.

The suspect reportedly had fifteen items from the store in his backpack. According to the report, the suspect admitted to stealing the items.

John Cavaleri of 5245 Washington Street, West Roxbury was charged with shoplifting over $200.
